Where on the hand: On any mount, on any of the major lines, on the wrist bracelets, inside the Quadrangle, and in the Great Triangle between the Life and Fate lines.
What it looks like: Three independent lines meeting to enclose a three-sided figure. The critical condition: it must be an independent entity-mark formed by three lines of its own, not the chance intersection of major lines.
Special talent; recognition and advancement in the domain of its mount. The Garuḍa Purāṇa pairs it with the tank — 'tank and triangle indicate righteousness' — and the Bṛhat Saṃhitā says triangular or rope-like twisted lines suggest richness.
