Where on the hand: The pad beneath the ring finger (anamika), between the finger crease and the heart line, with Saturn on the radial side and Mercury on the ulnar side. The Sun line (Apollo line, सूर्य रेखा) rises into it. Centre roughly x 0.66, y 0.94.
What it looks like: A rounded cushion under the third finger, usually carrying one or more clear vertical lines running up into it. Three clear vertical lines here are considered especially auspicious in Indian practice.
