What it looks like: A small round spot paler than the surrounding palm, 0.5–3 mm, sitting on a line.

The positive variant of the dot, and the one clearly benefic colour in Saint-Germain's system. White signals the mental register — discovery, invention and intellectual achievement rather than illness.

Western reading: This is Saint-Germain's colour system: white is the mental hue, so a white dot converts the dot from an illness marker into a marker of intellectual event. Benham lists white among his four dot colours without giving it this positive charge.
