Where on the hand: A small free-floating cross in the Quadrangle — the band of palm between the Head line and the Heart line — usually near the Fate line, in the centre of the palm.

What it looks like: Two short independent lines crossing each other, standing clear of the major lines.

Interest in the occult, mysticism and intuition; "good instincts"; interest in the unseen. In Indian readings it shows an inclination toward adhyatma (spirituality) and often a guru connection. It is strongly reinforced by a Ring of Solomon and a Line of Intuition.

Western reading: The one cross read positively; every other cross is an obstacle or crisis mark.
