Where on the hand: A combination read across the quadrangle, the Jupiter mount, the Luna mount, the Head line's slope, the Fate line's strength and the finger shape.

What it looks like: A soft, pale hand with long smooth conic or pointed fingers, a Head line sloping down to Luna, a weak or absent Fate line, and a cluster of mystical markings in the upper palm.

The renunciate combination — the hand of the person turned away from worldly structure toward adhyatma. Its defining negative component is the weak or absent Fate line: no worldly structure to be tied to.

Western reading: Benham specifies almost exactly this cluster — pointed fingers, sloping Head line, full Luna, Line of Intuition, Ring of Solomon, Mystic Cross — as the condition under which the Line of Intuition can be read positively.
