Linewesternuncommon
Where on the hand: A line rising from the Mount of Luna or from the low percussion, running inward and upward across the palm, cutting toward the Fate line or the Head line. Some writers instead place it as a line rising from the base of the palm to cut across the Life line from the outside.
What it looks like: A diagonal line striking up and inward from the outer lower palm, crossing whatever lies in its path.
Resistance to authority, refusal of the inherited pattern, a temperamental need to break structures. Where it cuts the Fate line, it marks the point at which the person broke from an expected path.
Read with care: Like the loyalty line, this is modern popular terminology with no classical basis. Label it a modern coinage rather than presenting it as traditional doctrine.
