Where on the hand: In the centre of the Mount of Venus, deeper into the ball of the thumb than the ordinary loop of music.

What it looks like: A small closed or nearly closed pattern — two loops facing one another, or a compact whorl — said to resemble a bee, from which it takes its popular name.
