Finger or thumbbothuniversal
शुक्र पर्वत · Shukra parvat
Also called: Mount of Venus as the thumb's third phalange · Venus section
Where on the hand: The large fleshy ball at the base of the thumb, enclosed by the life line — counted in the thumb's own three-fold division as its third section.
What it looks like: A rounded, elastic cushion. Note its fullness, its elevation and its colour; ideally full and elegant with a pink tinge, neither flat nor bulging.
The seat of vitality, passion, affection, sensuality, stamina, health and family love. It completes the thumb's trinity of will, reason and love.
Read with care: "Sexual immorality" is the language of the older texts; report it as period doctrine rather than as a judgement.
