What it looks like: A vertical stand-line surmounted by a horizontal beam, with a short pan-arc hanging from each end of the beam — a small U on each side. The strong form has the beam level.
On Saturn: balance, justice, karmic awareness, responsibility, harmony — described as very rare. Generally: wealth and prosperity; business profit. The Hindi press-astrology tradition calls it 'Lakṣmī Yoga' — vast wealth and successful ventures, the bearer becoming a prominent entrepreneur.
Read with care: Citation correction: there is no scales/balance/tulā anywhere in Bṛhat Saṃhitā 70, 68 or Garuḍa Purāṇa LXV. The sword in ch. 70 is real but is at 70.2, a FOOT mark, and its reading is only “the woman will be happy”. This entry's classical citation should be treated as unsupported.
