Where on the hand: Palm surface. Not to be confused with the parvats meaning the mounts.

What it looks like: Two or three adjacent triangular peaks sharing their base-line, of unequal height, the tallest usually central — a mountain range in outline. The Meru form is a single tall triangle with a flat, widened top.

Valour, courage, uniqueness — 'the person is brave, courageous, unique.' Also: never experiences lack of wealth. Bṛhat Saṃhitā 70 lists mountain among the queen-making marks.
