Also called: Warmth and coldness of the hands

Where on the hand: Felt on the whole hand at the moment of the reading, and interpreted together with colour and consistency.

What it looks like: Warm, cold, or hot-and-dry-and-red. Coldness is read differently depending on whether the hand is otherwise well-formed or pale and flabby.

Temperature reads circulation and the outward or inward set of the temperament: warm hands go out toward people, cold hands hold back. It is only adverse when combined with pallor and flabbiness.
