Where on the hand: Applied along the Heart line across the upper palm, divided by the same four finger-mount sections used on the Head line.

What it looks like: Four dated bands under the four finger mounts, read either from the percussion inward or from the index outward depending on the school.

Cheiro applies the identical four mount-sections he uses on the Head line. Many experienced modern readers refuse to time the Heart line at all, holding that emotional and cardiac events do not distribute evenly along its length.
