What it looks like: A circle with radiating internal spokes and a distinctly thick rim, standing alone without a chariot body — the wheel of the rath separated from its car.

Where it appears in the centre of the palm with spear, lance, arrow and flag, the chariot-wheel specifically grants the authority to rule and to reap its benefits. Named separately from the chakra in the Indian symbol compilations.
