Where on the hand: On the topmost bracelet line, where it meets the base of the palm.

What it looks like: Instead of running flat across the wrist, the first bracelet curves conspicuously upward into the palm, arching toward the Mount of Venus and the Mount of the Moon.

The single most-quoted rascette reading. It is traditionally read as nervousness and a possible lack of sexual vigour; in women, the older texts read difficulty conceiving or complications in childbirth, and in severe cases sterility.
