What it looks like: A straight shaft-line terminating at one end in a distinctly bulbous, rounded or ovoid head — a lollipop in outline, with the head about a third the length of the shaft; sometimes with a small ring-line where head meets shaft.

Great courage, charisma, authority; command of armies; the power to enforce. Classically named among the marks conferring the status of an uttama puruṣa — superior person and master of all — when found with conch, sword, goad, bow or arrow.
