Where on the hand: Short vertical lines standing on the Mounts of Apollo and Mercury, under the ring and little fingers, above the Heart line.

What it looks like: A small palisade of short upright strokes on the upper palm beneath the ring and little fingers.

Financial acumen and earning capacity. Several strong vertical strokes on the Mercury mount indicate a commercial gift; the same on the Apollo mount indicate money arriving through creativity or reputation.

Read with care: No palm marking predicts income. Popular Indian sources treat these as wealth guarantees; the classical texts do not.
