Finger or thumbbothcommon
सीधी उंगलियाँ · Seedhi ungliyan
Also called: Upright fingers
Where on the hand: Seen with the hand held up and the fingers extended naturally; each finger should run true along its own vertical axis without leaning toward a neighbour.
What it looks like: Four fingers rising parallel, no bowing, no torsion, no kinked tips.
Straight fingers are one of the plainest good signs on the hand — *"सीधी उंगलियां होना एक अच्छे गुण की निशानी है"*. They are read as wealth, success and continuous progress with fewer obstacles; "nature favours them"; honesty and dignity.
