Finger or thumbbothcommon
Also called: Dropped set · Low-set Mercury · Low-set Jupiter
Where on the hand: At the finger bases, where one or more sit noticeably below the natural arc of the other three.
What it looks like: Draw the expected arc as a dotted line: the dropped finger's base sits visibly beneath it, and the finger looks stunted from the palm side even when its actual length is normal.
A finger set low weakens its mount and its planet, and can nullify even a well-developed mount. The finger's gifts remain present but are hard to reach and must be worked for.
