Where on the hand: On any fingertip pad; rarest on the ring finger, most often found on index and middle.

What it looks like: Ridges enter one side and exit the other, rising in a low, smooth hill. **No triradius and no core** — the simplest of all the patterns.

Reliable, hard-working, practical, reserved, realistic, constant, useful and down-to-earth, with a habit of suppressing emotion. Its weaknesses are resistance to change, limited self-awareness and difficulty expressing feeling.

Western reading: The simplest pattern in dermatoglyphics and the one with the fewest ridge features.
