Where on the hand: Palm surface; read most strongly at the top of the Fate line or on Jupiter.

What it looks like: The Devanāgarī glyph approximated in lines: a broad lower curve opening rightward, a smaller upper curve above it, a rightward tail-hook, and a crescent-with-dot above.

Highest spiritual attainment; the mark of a sādhaka; protection.

Read with care: Extremely rare and genuinely a modern popular-devotional addition — no classical text lists it, and it is easy to over-read a chance configuration into the glyph. Treat any claimed Om with particular scepticism.
