Where on the hand: Recognised from the fingers: long, bony and angular, with BOTH joints on each finger markedly developed.

What it looks like: A long, bony, angular hand; long fingers with the knots of order at the lower joint and the knots of mental order at the upper; a long, well-formed thumb with a strongly developed first phalanx. Often described as an exaggerated conic form with pronounced knuckles and unusually long tapering fingers.

The hand of analysis and deliberation — the thinker who thinks everything through before acting, prizes knowledge above money and comfort, and inclines toward asceticism and religious or philosophical enquiry.
