What it looks like: Eight emblems: a right-turning conch, an endless interlaced knot, two facing fish, a lotus, a fringed parasol, a bellied treasure vase, a spoked wheel, and a cylindrical victory banner on a staff.
Ordered differently in different regions but comprising: right-turning white conch; endless knot; two golden fish; lotus; jewelled parasol; treasure vase (bumpa); dharmacakra; victory banner (dhvaja). Note the direct overlap with the palmistic 'great five' — conch, fish, lotus, parasol, vase, wheel and banner: six of the eight are standard shubh chinha.
