What it looks like: Not a mark. An independent Purāṇic enumeration that overlaps heavily with the Bṛhat Saṃhitā but names several marks the latter does not.

Chapter LXV, 'Auspicious marks on men and women as disclosed by the science of Sāmudrikam,' is the second pillar of the classical corpus. It is the source for several readings that later Hindi lists repeat verbatim — the fish-tail as intellect, the mortar as a sacrificer's mark, the altar as an Agnihotrin's.
