Where on the hand: Recognised from the whole hand: the palm forms a distinct square, with straight edges at both the wrist and the finger bases.

What it looks like: Broad palm, squared at both ends; fingertips flat with squared-off corners; large joints; a long, well-shaped thumb set high on the palm.

The hand of order, method and perseverance — the person who prefers the certain to the possible, respects authority and custom, and gets things finished. Weak on imagination, idealism, poetry and spontaneity.
